More than 400 Samaritans from twelve European countries met on the occasion of the 6th International SAMARITAN Forum from 11 to 13 September 2009 in the Congress Park Hanau.

Once again the programme reflects a broad range of developments in rescue service, disaster management, voluntary work and first-aid-training. Rescue service workers from German speaking countries had the opportunity to take part in the highly popular continuing education seminars.
